Konica Minolta Receives "Must See 'em" Award at the 2006 Graph Expo Conference
RAMSEY, NJ - October 23, 2006 - KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS U.S.A, INC. (KONICA MINOLTA) today announced that the recently launched bizhub PRO C6500 Digital Color Printing System was recognized with a "Must See 'em" Award at Graph Expo, the printing industry's largest annual exhibition in North America, held October 15-18, 2006.
The program is sponsored by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC), and conducted independently by the PrintComSM Consulting Group. The "Must See 'em" Awards recognized GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO 2006's most compelling products and services, as selected by a panel of 15 leading industry consultants and trade magazine editors. "Must See 'em" products are highly recommended for every exhibition attendee.
The bizhub PRO C6500, featuring the Fiery IC-303 Print Controller, was demonstrated in the EFI Booth during GRAPH EXPO, and wowed the crowds with its precision color, consistent high quality output, and industry-leading value. The bizhub PRO C6500 features 65 ppm color and black and white printing and copying with a high volume 300,000-page monthly duty cycle. The bizhub PRO C6500's paper capacity, flexible finishing options and cost-efficiency are ideal for light- to mid-volume on- demand color production printing. The bizhub PRO C6500 has the ability to duplex print heavy and coated stocks - up to 256 gsm (10 point) through any tray - and 300 gsm (14 point) stock simplex prints through a dedicated paper tray. Finishing options include a saddle-stitch booklet maker for up to 200-page trimmed booklets, a multi-folding unit with post-inserter and hole punch, and a 5,000-sheet stacker unit for increased productivity and lower labor costs.
